For the
past ten years The Sweet Potato Pie Factory has quietly been
building a quality reputation among high profile companies and
individuals with discriminating tastes. Among our satisfied clients
are: Mr. Bob Johnson, Pastor John P. Kee, Mr. Carl Brooks, Merrill
Lynch, Citigroup, MetLife, Sunoco, Johnson & Johnson, Tyco
International, American Express, NBC Universal, Pepsi Cola, Time
Warner, Target and Safeway.
We began as a catering company in Cleveland, OH offering boxed
lunches to school administrators. We quickly grew from providing
school lunches to offering our professional services to high profile
political figures in Cleveland, and was even asked to plan and cater
the event for the first ever OH Delegation Trip by the Royal family
of Liberia in 2000.
In 2001, our family owned business relocated to Charlotte, North
Carolina. Again, our company began to gain the attention of many
local business leaders who wanted to provide their guests or event
with outstanding attention to detail; unparalleled food preparation;
and unique theme creations. As a result of our catering business,
the demand for our gourmet desserts grew; thus our company began to
offer our desserts as a stand alone product.
Our gourmet desserts became very successful, and our products were
soon featured on QVC. It is there that we gained the attention of
Ms. Oprah Winfrey’s personal chef Art Smith. Art immediately
endorsed our products with such remarks like: “These wonderful
pieces of LOVE will make you cry for more. Every one in America must
take these wonderful treats of love home!”
Over the years many of our clients have requested that we make our
food and services available more frequently than on an event by
event basis. After several years of successful catering and event
planning, The Sweet Potato Pie Factory has opened its doors in
November, 2007 in historic downtown Concord as Ruby’s Dinner Club.
The next time you want to tell someone how special they are to you,
and they live outside of the Charlotte area and therefore they can’t
come to Ruby’s Dinner Club, send them a Gourmet Dessert Gift Basket
from The Sweet Potato Pie Factory. Visit us today at:
